Hair by Marcedes has always taken pride in knowing that I try Never to Overbook and also making sure that my clients experience my in and out Rule. I always thought other Stylist Professionals that subject their clients to being in the salon all day, was rude and unprofessional.
Unfortunately...
Recently....Due to inconsistencies of clients and their lame excuses of repeatedly rescheduling & canceling appointments....I am left with no other choice but to enforce New Policies & Rules to help eliminate rude and inconsiderate appointment makers that apparentely don't understand the appointment concept.
To those who don't understand, let me break it down to you....
I book all my appointments according to what services are being rendered.
Example: Client wanting a Sew In...I know that my sew in usually takes me approx. 2 to 3 hours. So that means if that client makes an appointment for 9am, I won't accept the next appointment until 12pm.
Now if clients in the mean time are calling for appointments during the time I already will be servicing a client, I won't accept appointments during that time. Now if that client that has the appointment cancels and especially at the last minute, I would have missed numerous clients that were wanting to come in for an actual appointment, but was turned down because I was already booked for the above times.
Don't get me wrong....I do understand emergency cancellations, but please understand that I can't keep offering my superior customer service and my in and out of the Salon Rule, if people keep taking advantage and being able to cancel due to lazy and inconsiderate reasons.
Marcedes New Policies !
Each Client has 3 times to cancel or reschedule before he or she aren't even allowed to be serviced by me.
Meaning...after 3 cancellations or reschedules (I dont care what reason) you will No Longer be able to obtain my sevices.
Fees Apply If the above do Occur
1st Cancellation $25..... 2nd Cancellation $50..... 3rd Cancellation $75
1st Rescheduling $10..... 2nd Rescheduling $20..... 3rd Rescheduling $30
Late Fees also Apply
1-15 minutes late with a phone call..... No Charge
16-30 minutes late with a phone call.....$5 Addtional
30-60 minutes late with a phone call.....$10 Additional
60 minutes or more....Reschedule your Appointment
1-15 minutes late without a phone call.....$15 Additional
16-30 minutes without a phone call.....$20 Additional
30-60 minutes late with a phone call.....$25 Additional
60 minutes or more...Your apointment is considered cancelled and occurs a 2 strike cancel mark.
If I make myself availiable for your appointement...you can at least call if cancelling or rescheduling or going to be late.
Please Understand....If you are Not happy with these fees & my New Rules don't work out, I will have no other choice but to go back to the standard booking appointments every half hour like all other Stylist. Which means the in out Salon visit will become extinct.
So Please only book Appoinments that you Plan on Keeping. I Don't Cancel or reschedule Appointments. Emergencies do happen, so I plan on using them for just what they are intended to be used for an EMERGENCY....
I am NOT the UnProfessional Hair Stylist, that leaves you under the dryer and go shopping, or take a 2 hour lunch break or a lunch break period during your salon visit, or etc...MARCEDES IS A PROFESSIONAL AND TAKES PRIDE IN OFFERING PROFESSIONAL SALON SERVICES
